Working Together for Better Sentencing Outcomes
Specialist Reports Limited is a company established specifically to provide specialist reports to New Zealand Courts. The business concept arose from a recognised need for more regard to be given to s27 of the Sentencing Act 2002 , which states an "offender may request court to hear person on personal, family, whānau, community, and cultural background of the offender" .
The mission of Specialist Reports is to assist the Court to make decisions affecting outcomes in sentencing, focusing on the importance of having all information before the presiding Judge.
Specialist Reports seeks to have a positive social impact in New Zealand. Currently, we service the Hauraki/Waikato, Waiariki, Tāmaki Makaurau and Te Tai Tokerau regions.
